Bordeaux Centre
From the historic heart of the Gironde capital, you can easily get to Bordeaux airport by public transport. These include the TBM bus network (Liane 1: Gare Saint-Jean Mérignac Aéroport), which takes you directly to Halls A and B (for Hall A, get off at the last stop) in an hour’s journey. You can also take the « fast » shuttle buses (Navettes 30′ Direct) from Gare Saint Jean, which link the city center and the airport in around 30 minutes.
It’s also the place where the city’s main sites of interest are located, such as Saint-Pierre Church and the Great Men.

Mérignac

Mérignac is home to Bordeaux airport. So it’s the ideal place to stay if you want to stay close to the airport. With 80,000 inhabitants, it’s the second largest city in Gironde after Bordeaux.
During your stay, you can also visit the Pessac zoo, just five kilometers away. It’s one of the region’s main attractions, home to hundreds of diverse animals.

Where can I park at Bordeaux airport?
If you’re staying in Bordeaux itself and want to reach the airport by public transport, you can book your airport transfer to Bordeaux directly online.
