Stretching around the Anse de la Baleta, this old town is home to the town’s main tourist and historical attractions, including the Lighthouse, theChurch of Notre-Dame-des-Anges de Collioure and the Château Royal.

You can also easily visit the Musée de Collioure, which houses a collection of works by artists who have spent time in Collioure, such as Signac and Matisse. If you want to immerse yourself in the town’s rich history and culture, this is the best place to stay in and around Collioure!

Located northwest of the old town, in the commune of Argelès-sur-Mer, Plage de l’Ouille is an excellent place to stay in and around Collioure.

Plage de l’Ouille and its neighboring coves are located away from the main roads, making it the perfect place to relax. From the hills overlooking the sea, you can also enjoy superb views! There are numerous campsites around the beach, so you’ll have no trouble finding accommodation in Collioure and the surrounding area. To reach the old town center, however, you’ll need to use your car or take a short walk or bike ride.

Batteries and Oli beach

Between La Vieille-Ville and Port-Vendres lie the nearby beaches of La Batterie and L’Oli. Around these two charming spots are numerous hotels and gîtes.

For accommodation in Collioure and the surrounding area, this is an excellent pied-à-terre: you’re close to the town center on foot, by bike or by car. You’ll have easy access to monuments, restaurants and the nearby town of Port-Vendres. Whether you arrive by train or not, the residential area around the station is a very charming place to stay in and around Collioure. What’s more, you’ll have no trouble getting to the center’s attractions on foot, or reaching the beaches by bus, car or bike. The proximity of the train station also means you can visit other towns on the coast, such as Banyuls sur mer, Port-Vendres and Perpignan!
