Discover the old port – or Port-Vieux – of La Ciotat, located seventeen kilometers from Aubagne, not far from the Bec de l’Aigle rock. Find accommodation in this area and enjoy a change of scenery as you walk alongside Provencal boats and old sailing ships, before enjoying a drink on the terrace. Continue your stroll through the old town center, on the lookout for beautiful 17th-century residences, and discover the old Hôtel de Ville and the 17th-century chapelle des pénitents bleus. La Ciotat is also a good starting point for a trip to the Ile Verte, to lose yourself in the calanques (creeks), particularly the Calanque de Figuerolles, and to take a dip in one of the surrounding beaches.
