It’s a ten-minute walk from the airport to the B&B hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel does not offer a free shuttle service. However, the airport shuttle stops 200 meters from the hotel. It’s a clean establishment, and amply sufficient for one night. Wi-Fi connection is free, as is parking.

Bouguenais is a historic commune in Brittany. It is located on the left bank of the Loire, some ten kilometers from downtown Nantes. Nantes Atlantique airport lies to the south of Bouguenais. This is the airport town, where you’ll find the nearest hotels. What’s more, many of them are just a few minutes from the terminal. Bouguenais is, therefore, the town to choose if your main criterion is to sleep near Nantes airport.

Saint-Aignan de Grandlieu
This commune is further away than the others, about twenty minutes by car. It lies next to the Lac de Grand-Lieu. Nevertheless, it’s a paradise for nature lovers: the lake is a protected nature reserve. In fact, the town is nicknamed the green lung of Nantes. Indeed, many woods and vineyards border the commune. Although the town is further away, it only takes 15 minutes to reach both places by bus, thanks to line 98.
What’s more, it’s a town full of history, with a very interesting heritage. If you have time, you can visit the Cité d’Herbauges, the Saint-Rachoux fountain or the church and its baroque organ. St Aignan de Grandlieu is also home to several châteaux, including La Plinguetière and Souché.

Rezé borders Bouguenais. The airport is only five kilometers from the city center, but the distance helps to keep hotel prices down. As a result, it’s the ideal place to get away from the airport and enjoy the local attractions. Indeed, it’s a dynamic city with plenty to do. For example, if you arrive in the late afternoon, you can visit the village of Trentemoult. In addition, the Chronographe museum and the municipal theater are also available to brighten up your day.
