Is Lille airport open at night?
Lille airport has a terminal open between 7am and 9pm. It is therefore not possible to stay overnight in the airport.
If you have an early morning flight or a late evening landing, choose to sleep in one of the hotels close to Lille airport.

Part of the Lille metropolitan area, Lesquin has a population of 8,000.
5.7 km south of the capital of Haut-de-France, Lesquin is home to Lille airport. So, this is the closest you’ll get to the airport. The town is mainly residential, but there are a number of hotels where you can spend the night before take-off.

Villeneuve d’Asq

Villeneuve d’Asq is a dynamic student town in the Lille metropolitan area.
If you’re a sports fan, Villeneuve d’Asq is famous for its stadiums, Lille Métropole and Pierre Mauroy. Numerous sporting events have been held here, including the Davis Cup and the Euro soccer championships.
Villeneuve d’Asq is just 11 kilometers from Lille airport and the capital of Flanders. Accommodation in Villeneuve is available if you have a car, or if you opt for a private transfer from the airport.

Lille Centre
Of course, if you need to get to Lille airport, we recommend that you sleep in the capital of the Hauts-de-France region, as the airport is easily accessible by public transport from the city center. From the airport, take one of the many shuttle buses to the city center. These run every hour and drop you off at the « Gare Lille Flandres » metro/tramway station. For your return journey, simply take the metro/tramway to the same stop, before taking one of the shuttles back to the airport.
You’ll be able to discover everything the city has to offer, including the Grand’Place, the Old Stock Exchange, the Opera House and the Town Hall.

Where can I park at Lille airport?
If you’re staying in Lille itself and want to reach the airport by public transport, you can book your airport transfer to Lille directly online.
However, if you’re driving to Lille airport, you may need to book cheap airport parking.
Lille airport has several parking lots, depending on the length of your stay:
- Long-term parking: from €42 for a week
- Convenience: this parking lot is a five-minute walk from the airport. Ideal if you’re staying less than four days.
- Proximity: this parking lot is located at the airport entrance
- Privilège couvert: as the name suggests, this is a covered parking lot.
- TOS: this parking lot is reserved for people who have booked their flight with a travel agency.
If you don’t have a car, there are many ways to get to Lille airport from the city center, including cab, bus (line 68), train or shuttle (€8 and twenty minutes’ transport).
