Is Bergamo airport open at night?
With a cafeteria open 24 hours a day, Bergamo airport is open at all hours. So you can enjoy a meal or browse the stores in the duty-free zone. What’s more, it even offers a concierge service for €5 per day per bag. Impeccable, you say? Not necessarily. Even though you’ll find free, unlimited Wi-Fi, you’ll have to pay for the sockets to recharge your phone. This will cost you €1.5 for 15 minutes. What’s more, there aren’t many seats for you to rest on, and they’re all metal with armrests. If you decide to lie on the floor, airport security agents will wake you up. You can’t sleep on the floor either. How about a shower? Impossible, there isn’t one.
If you’re lucky, you can sleep in one of the nine sleeping cabins. These are soundproofed and equipped with a flight control screen and electrical sockets. Access and payment, ranging from €9 per hour to €58 per night, are made via the touch screen.

As you can see, rather than staying at Bergamo airport on a cold, hard floor. The best option for a quality rest will be to find a hotel room. While there are no hotels on the airport premises, you’ll find plenty of choice on the outskirts. NH Orio Al Serio
The NH Orio Al Serio is located opposite the airport, in one of Europe’s largest shopping centers. As a result, you can reach the hotel via an underground passage connected to the airport. It’s a fifteen-minute walk, or you can take the shuttle service available from 4am to 9am. However, this will cost you €5 per person. Outside these hours, the shuttle must be ordered, and the fare will be doubled.
Winter Garden Hotel
Just a six-minute drive away, the Winter Garden is a prestigious hotel. It can accommodate business meetings and showrooms of over 300 m². You can also take advantage of the spa, with its gym, sauna and Turkish bath. What’s more, an eight-seat shuttle bus operates from 4.45am to 9.45am. Reservations are required.
57 RestHotel Orio
Located in the same commune as the airport, 57 RestHotel Orio offers a shuttle service for €10. This service is available on request at any time. The interior and exterior architecture is modern. What’s more, some rooms feature a Jacuzzi in the same room.

Bergamo
It’s hard not to include Bergamo in this list. It boasts an important fortification on the heights(the Città Alta). Over time, however, it has expanded below(Città Bassa) to form a city that combines modernity and history.
If you’d like to stay in Città Alta, there are a number of small hotels and Airbnb properties to choose from. In this way, you’ll be close to the most interesting sights, almost all of which are located around the Contarini Fountain. However, don’t hesitate to get lost in the surrounding alleys – you’ll always find something to satisfy your curiosity. In the evening, you can head down to the Borgo Santa Caterina district for a drink and some nightlife. Here, too, you’ll have no trouble finding accommodation.

Where to park at Bergamo airport?
Are you coming to Bergamo airport with your own vehicle? Then you’ll have a choice of six pay parking lots, half of which are covered.
