Pavilion: Pavilion is one of the best-known and most popular shopping malls for locals and tourists alike. Located in the upscale Bukit Bintang district, it has six floors offering brands to suit all budgets. You can go from Chanel to Zara in just one floor. There are also some fine Asian and international restaurants on the top floor. For a full list of stores, visit the official website.
NU Sentral: ideally located in Kuala Lumpur’s main subway station, KL Sentral, this shopping center features international brands at reasonable prices. Here you’ll find H&M, Adidas and Converse, as well as lesser-known budget brands such as Cotton On and Uniqlo. There are also numerous cafés, restaurants and fast-food outlets. More information on the official website.
Farenheit 88: Directly opposite the Pavilion is another gigantic shopping center, Farenheit 88. It features mainly Asian brands and a few Western brands such as The Body Shop and Rip Curl. Find out more about the mall here.
Suria KLCC: Probably the city’s most luxurious mall. Situated at the foot of the Petronas Towers, this shopping mall is the place to be if you want to heat up your credit card. On the program: Armani, Benetton, Miu Miu, Balenciaga, Chanel and many others. A few more affordable stores also lurk among the luxury brands. Link to the official Suria website here.
Berjaya Times Square: With its 48 floors, Berjaya is not only a shopping mall, but also offers apartments, an amusement park, a laser game, etc. It’s an experience in its own right to experience the glitz and glamour of South Asia. More information on the official website.
Most of the city’s shopping malls are open until 10pm. They can be reached by metro or monorail, as they are all located in Kuala Lumpur’s city center. It’s enough to make you dizzy!
