Seville, the beautiful Andalusian city, has a major airport: Seville San Pablo Airport. One of Spain’s largest airports, it boasts a single runway 3360 meters long and a single terminal. So you won’t get lost! It is served by many airlines for national and international flights.
It’s about ten kilometers from the city. If you’re wondering how to get from the airport to the center of Seville when you land, we’ve got you covered! As is often the case when traveling, the best way to get to the city center is by shuttle bus. But there are many other options.
Getting to the center of Seville by bus

The bus is very convenient for your transfer between the airport and Seville city center. All you need to do is take the Tussam EA bus. Travel time varies according to traffic conditions, but you should allow around 30 minutes to reach the city.
The fare is €4 per person one way. Be sure to bring some cash with you. Tickets are bought directly from the driver. To reach the city center, get off at the Avenida Carlos V stop.
Rent a car at Seville airport
The car is the means that will give you the most freedom. With a rental car, you can go wherever you want, whenever you want! As soon as you arrive at the terminal, you’ll find rental agencies ready to guide you.

Cabs are a solution that many people choose for their arrival in Seville. This mode of transport is obviously very practical, as you’ll be dropped off directly at the desired location, such as your hotel or Airbnb apartment. As for journey time, you should allow between fifteen and twenty minutes to get to downtown Seville. Cab ranks are located right in front of the airport, on the opposite sidewalk.
As far as fares are concerned, you should expect to pay around €25 per journey on average. Don’t forget to share your cab if you think the cost is too high! There are two types of fare:
- Day rate: Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

- Night rate: including weekends and public holidays, as well as evenings from 9pm to 7am.
