Of course, when you think of water parks in general, you think of children first and foremost! We imagine them laughing and having fun all day long, sailing from pool to pool, from activity to activity, filling up on sensations and memories, until they’re completely exhausted. And rest assured, Iléo, the Ile d’Oléron water park, is no exception to the rule.

Here, the little ones can enjoy a wide range of activities in a safe environment. A paddling pool is available for the youngest, as is a Splashpad, a pool with water jets in which children can run through a simple course. An inflatable aquatic structure, reserved for children under 6, is also available.

When it comes to safety, you’ve got nothing to worry about, as a team of over 15 professional supervisors will watch over your children all day long. You’ll be able to leave them alone while you enjoy the activities for older children, in compliance with the center’s rules and regulations (children aged 8 and over must be able to swim).

2. Activities for older children

While children are obviously given pride of place at this water park on the Ile d’Oléron, older children are not left out in the cold – quite the contrary!

At Iléo, thrill-seekers can take advantage of the Pentagliss slide, the river of buoys, and other giant slides with shallow, secure landing basins. But the activities don’t stop there, as a wave riding simulator is also available, allowing you to discover or rediscover the fabulous sensations of riding a wave.

Finally, for those who want to get out of the pool for a moment, there are plenty of « dry » activities on offer. There are also a number of inflatables where you can try your hand at human table soccer, tennis soccer or giant darts.

A spa and wellness area is also available, with a steam room, sauna, outdoor spas and Jacuzzi. You’ll be able to get away from the hustle and bustle of the park for a moment of pure relaxation, before returning to your loved ones for more thrills and spills.
