Les 7 Laux is part of a spectacular natural environment renowned for its great beauty. To see for yourself, you could take a short stride up the Col des 7 Laux! Trail running is mountain running. All you need is a pair of sneakers to try and climb the hundreds of kilometers of trails available.
The advantage is that you avoid the heat of the plains and enjoy splendid panoramic views. The Allevard massif, the Maupas gorge, the 7 Laux waterfall and the Haut-Bréda valley are just waiting for you!

Tobogganing is great… well, only in winter: in summer it’s not so great. Except that in summer, this outdoor activity at Les 7 Laux is also available to visitors. Rail tobogganing is one of the resort’s must-do activities.
To do so, head to Le Pleynet, where you can access the Wiz luge, a spectacular infrastructure dedicated to fun that resembles a mini-Grand 8. With its twists and turns, tunnels and demonic accelerations, you’ll be spared nothing. Suitable for a family holiday, rail tobogganing is sure to appeal to young and old alike!

Do you like the mountains? Do you like accrobranche? If so, this outdoor activity at Les 7 Laux has four distinct levels of difficulty. The yellow course is reserved for the youngest toddlers, the green course for families with children over six, the blue is even tougher, and the red… it’s the toughest of the four.
A good idea? Come on Thursdays, when the climbing park is open until 10pm. It’s the perfect opportunity to admire a splendid sunset over the valley. What’s more, you can even enjoy a free tasting of local produce!
Prapoutel aquatic center

What do you do when the sun is shining and the wind is blowing? When you’re sweating and want to cool off? The aquatic center features some of the best outdoor activities in Les 7 Laux. A beautifully landscaped playground with slides, buoyed rivers and pools borders a lovely solarium where you can relax and unwind.
The aquatic center is modern, well-equipped and offers a wide variety of leisure activities when you visit this pretty resort. There’s also a snack bar and a bar, so you can spend the day here without any problems. If it’s a hot day, you know where to go!
MOUNTAIN BIKING

Disc golf

Many visitors have made no mistake: this outdoor activity is one of the best in Les 7 Laux. For its originality, of course, but also for its ease. Disc golf is a mixture of orienteering, Frisbee and golf, in which the player lands a disc in a basket along a course marked out by markers.
Whoever completes the course with the fewest discs wins! With a length of 2,400 metres, the course is a fun excuse to discover the countryside around Prapoutel.
Mountaineering

So how long are you going to wait before you decide to take the plunge? Here’s one of the best outdoor activities you can do in Les 7 Laux! And certainly one of the most symbolic when it comes to the mountains. You can opt for a one-day initiation, a two-day race with a night in a refuge, or an even longer itinerary.
Your guide will take you, for example, up the Grand pic de Belledonne, the highest peak in the massif at 2,977 m. Equipment will be provided, or can be hired at the resort if you don’t have your own. No more excuses!
Archery

If it’s one of the best outdoor activities to do in Les 7 Laux, it’s first and foremost for the beauty of the place. Then there’s its astonishing simplicity! Archery isn’t all that complicated. Courses are organized throughout the summer by qualified instructors. You can’t improvise, putting yourself in the shoes of our primitive hunting ancestors!
Targets are scattered throughout the forest, in the middle of the terrain and vegetation. Of course, we recommend that you try this sport as a family: your children will love it!
Driving dogs on wheels

Undoubtedly one of our favorites, this is one of the best outdoor activities to do in Les 7 Laux in the eyes of many tourists. All are fascinated by these stuffed animals with their haughty head carriage and proud look, capable of pulling people and goods for miles!
Normally reserved for the winter season, here you can try your hand at mushing (sled dog driving) on wheeled carts. The principle is the same as in winter: a great deal of complicity, petting and fun. Would you like to try it?

Snakegliss

Splendid, this spot is one of our favorites, and we’re far from the only ones to think so. The Pleynet slopes are really something! You too can enjoy one of the best outdoor activities in Les 7 Laux: snakeglissing.
It’s a succession of eight sledges joined together to form one big snow snake. The snake has no scales, but still has to hurtle down the slopes. The ascent is made using the classic ski lifts, just like skiing. It’s sure to glide, glide, glide!
Off-piste skiing

For us, this outdoor activity in Les 7 Laux is a must. Accompanied by an instructor, it’s a great way to have fun in this beautiful area. The resort has always pursued a policy of supervising off-piste skiing ( freeride), and large areas are secured while guaranteeing a natural route.
Perfect for beginners, the Combe de Bédina and Combe du Pra are renowned throughout the region for their beauty.
Paragliding

This idyllic resort offers a whole host of leisure activities. But not all of them are as enjoyable as this one, certainly one of the best outdoor activities to be enjoyed in Les 7 Laux!
Tandem paragliding is the best way to fly over the splendid Alps. In winter, take-off is on skis from the Oudis dome: off you go for the 1,200-metre ascent to the Col des Ayes. Once you’ve landed, the shuttle bus ride back to the resort provides an opportunity for a briefing on your exploit. A video can even be provided as an optional extra!

Nordic skiing

Charming? Better still: enchanting, this spot in the Beldina Nordic ski area! In fact, it’s one of the best outdoor activities to be found in Les 7 Laux. Nordic skiing is alive and well in the resort, with some fifteen kilometers of cross-country trails and several different levels of difficulty.
Try the « Beldina challenge », a very technical but very short black run. Your calves will burn!
Snowshoe hikes
