1. Galeria ZDB

Opening hours: Monday to Saturday, 6 p.m. to 3 a.m. or 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. depending on the day
Head to Bairo Alto to discover Galeria Ze dos Bois (ZDB). Part social space, part art gallery, part bookshop, part cinema and part bar, this is one of Lisbon’s cultural institutions.
But not everyone knows that it also houses a rooftop! An underground address offering rock-bottom prices and great live music.
If you want to hear new sounds and enjoy a great atmosphere, this is the place!
2. Terraço Chill-Out Limão

Opening hours: Monday to Saturday, 3 pm to 10 pm and Sunday, 12.30 pm to 9 pm
Looking for a gentle interlude during your stay in Lisbon? Then head to Terraço Chill-Out Limão! This Lisbon rooftop offers a lovely view of the city’s rooftops and the Tagus in the distance.

3. The Cat
Address: Jardim 9 de Abril, 1200-736 Lisboa
Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 12.30 pm to 2 am
Opened in 2010, Le Chat has quickly become one of the Portuguese capital’s most popular addresses. The rooftop is located above Lisbon’s Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga, offering a magnificent panorama of the Tagus and the April 25th Bridge. The well-stocked cocktail menu changes weekly.
The little extra? The rooftop is sheltered by glass walls. So you can enjoy the view whatever the weather!
4. Park Bar Lisbon
Address: Calçada do Combro 58 Lisboa
Opening hours: daily from 1pm to midnight
To get to the Park Bar, you have to cross a parking lot and climb to the fifth floor. It’s hard to imagine a place like this! This Lisbon rooftop looks like a hanging garden. It offers spectacular views over the city, including the Santa Catarina church.
The Park Bar is renowned for its cocktails and burgers. However, prices are quite high. In the evening, the atmosphere is spiced up with a DJ set, to the tunes of bosa nova, jazz and more…
5. Level Eight
Address: Rua Castilho 14, 1250-096 Lisboa
Opening hours: daily from 1pm to midnight
Visitors to Level Eight can enjoy superb views of the Eduardo VII Park and Lisbon’s Botanical Gardens. The atmosphere is chic and relaxed, and the food delicious. And not for nothing: the rooftop belongs to a Lebanese restaurant located just below.
The prices are high, but the view is superb. We recommend going there for the sunset!
6. Topo
Address: Centro Comercial Martim Moniz 6 Esq, Praça Martim Moniz, 1100-341 Lisboa
Opening hours: daily from 12.30 pm to 1 am
Located on the first floor of the Martim Moniz shopping center, Topo overlooks the historic Mouraria district and St. George’s Castle. If you’re looking for a trendy, relaxed establishment, this is the place to be.
Topo’s cocktails are renowned here in Lisbon, and the food is also very good. Perhaps the best rooftop in the Alfama district!
7. Hotel Mundial
Address: Hotel Mundial, Praça Martim Moniz 2, 1100-341 Lisboa
Opening hours: daily from 3 pm to 10 pm
Head for the ninth floor of the Hotel Mundial to enjoy a magnificent rooftop in Lisbon… The atmosphere is chic and the view of the Tagus and St. George’s Castle breathtaking. Despite belonging to a 4-star hotel, the bar is reasonably priced.
The best time to visit is at night, to admire the lights of the historic center. It’s magical!
8. Memmo Alfama

Once again, let’s head for Lisbon’s most typical district, the Alfama. The Memmo Alfama offers a lovely view of the old rooftops. It’s the perfect place to sip a vinho verde after a tour of the city… And if the timing is right, to watch the sun set over the Tagus.
The hotel’s contemporary decor and outdoor swimming pool give it a very chic atmosphere. Prices are a little high by Lisbon standards, but the value for money remains very good.
9. Entretanto Rooftop Bar

The Entretanto Rooftop Bar offers one of the finest views in the capital. Day or night, the panorama of the historic center and the Tagus River is breathtaking. That’s because it’s located above the Hotel du Chiado, right in the heart of the Chiado/Baixa district.
This is one of Lisbon’s only large rooftops. Every Saturday night, a DJ sets the mood. Large sofas are also available to make you feel at home. And to top it all off, prices are reasonable given the service on offer.
10. Lumi
Address: Rua de São Pedro de Alcântara 35, 1250-237 Lisboa
Opening hours: daily from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
