If you’re passionate about antiquity, discovering Cappadocia is a trip that should fill you with wonder. This historic and central region of Turkey, in the heart of Anatolia, is characterized by its endemic rocky landscapes. The various forms of Persian, Roman, Arab and Ottoman domination that Cappadocia has undergone have forged the richness of its heritage: Byzantine churches, underground and troglodyte towns and ancient cities bear witness to this millennia-old history.

But the region also offers impressive natural treasures, such as the fairy chimneys of Gorëme, the world’s largest open-air museum. Thanks to this diversity, Cappadocia has been on UNESCO’s list of World Natural and Cultural Heritage sites since 1985. To simplify the organization of your stay, Generation Voyage has selected the 10 best hotels to stay in Cappadocia.
