Les (Re)visiteurs de l’Histoire: an immersive adventure at the heart of Carcassonne’s Chateau Comtal

Early evening, twilight or nightfall, with family or friends: take part in the immersive, spectacular, mischievous and innovative adventure of the transformed medieval city.

For the fourth year running, the Centre des Monuments Nationaux, in partnership with the City of Carcassonne, has called on Amaclio Productions to create, direct and produce the summer night-time tour of the Château Comtal de Carcassonne. Visitors will be able to extend their discovery of the Cité in an exceptional way, thanks to Martin Arnaud’s original creation.

Here’s a unique opportunity to visit the Château Comtal and gain access to the ramparts, normally inaccessible in the evening. Visitors are immersed in a playful and daring sound trail that introduces them to the city’s history in a totally new way. A multi-sensory experience that will appeal to young and old alike.

Depending on the time of your visit, you can rediscover the towers and ramparts, illuminated and magnified by a spectacular play of colors and textures, while admiring the landscape, the castle and the mountains on the horizon.
