Juventus is a soccer club founded in 1897 by a group of students from Turin. The team is nicknamed la Vecchia Signora (« Old Lady ») or i Bianconeri (the Black and Whites). The club is one of the most successful in Italy and the world, with 31 Italian league titles, 13 Italian Cups and 2 Champions Leagues. Juve currently play in Italy’s elite Serie A.

The club currently plays in the Allianz Stadium (41,507 seats), a stadium it owns, inaugurated in 2011 and built on the ruins of the Stadio Delle Alpi, where the club used to play. Juventus is one of the most popular clubs not only in Italy, but throughout the world. This is mainly due to the club’s numerous titles.

Which matches to choose?

Although Juventus is a world-famous club, its fan base in Turin is not huge, since in Turin and Piedmont the majority of people support Torino FC. As a result, the stadium has only 41,507 seats, and tickets go fast. So if you want to see the big games (against Inter, Torino or AC Milan, for example), we advise you to be on the ticketing site early. Tickets will go on sale inless than 10 minutes.

For smaller posters, don’t delay too long either. But don’t be forced to log on as soon as the sale starts.

In Italy, only the next two matches to be played are put on sale. That’s 1 month in advance, maximum. Keep up to date with the calendar(find the Juventus calendar here)

What’s more, winter in Turin is very cold, so going to see a match at this time of year can be uncomfortable for the more chilly. However, the stadium will be less crowded and the chances of getting tickets will be higher.

Which forum to choose?

Here are the stadium’s four grandstands:

  • Curva nord: this is one of the stadium’s two curves. It’s the best option if you want to enjoy the atmosphere. It’s also a stand where prices are more attractive.
  • Curva sud: the other corner of the stadium, where the most virulent supporters are located. It’s very difficult, if not impossible, to get seats there.
  • East stand: this is the side stand filmed by television. Prices here are more expensive than in the curva, but the vantage point for watching the match is more optimal. It’s the best value for money.
  • West stand(ovest): this is the most prestigious stand in the stadium, where VIPs watch the match. Seats here are more expensive. Expect to pay at least a hundred euros per seat.
