Local agencies, guides and other instructors can advise you on how to rent a jet ski suited to your level. They often speak English, French and Spanish, making it easy to communicate with (and reassure) tourists.
Alternatively, if you have a boating license, you can hire a jet ski without an instructor. This option is ideal if you want to create your own tour itinerary. But be careful: you won’t be the only one out on the water!
How much does a jet ski rental cost in Ibiza?
Jet ski rental prices in Ibiza vary according to the agency, the tour and the type of vehicle. For example, if you’d like a simple one-hour introduction, you’ll need to pay around €180 for a two-person jet ski. For 2 or 3 hours, expect to pay €300 per person.

Minors under 18 are not allowed to drive a jet ski. They may, however, be carried as passengers. The activity is often forbidden to children.

Before setting off on a jet ski excursion, be sure toapply sunscreen and put on your swimsuit or wetsuit. Good water shoes or sneakers are also recommended, as are sunglasses and a face mask. Take a piece of identification with you to register with the service provider and certify that you have reached the age of majority.
On site, your agency or service provider will provide you with the necessary equipment. He or she will give you instructions on how to stay alert at sea. Be careful, because although the activity is sensational, it can also be dangerous.
