Apprentice yachtsmen who don’t have a coastal license can rent a boat without a license (6 hp maximum) from €110 per half-day and €150 per day in high season.
Rigid or semi-rigid motorboats (between 50 hp and 250 hp) can be rented for as little as €300 per half-day or €500 per day. If a skipper is on board, this rate increases by around €200 per day.
Finally, yacht charter in Juan-les-Pins starts at €2,000 per day, and only with a captain or skipper on board. Depending on the yacht model, rates can quickly rise to over €5,000 per day, whatever the season.
Good to know: rental rates generally do not include fuel. You’ll need to refuel with the owner when you return from your outing.
