On the market stalls, summer fruits and vegetables have definitely given way to seasonal produce! Head for root vegetables, nuts and other cabbage and squash derivatives to fill up on vitamins this month!

With winter just a few weeks away, it’s time to capitalize on our nutrition to boost our immune defenses and protect ourselves from winter viruses. And autumn is full of sweet, comforting, nutrient-packed vegetables!

We’re thinking of the squash family, forgotten vegetables like salsify, rutabaga and Jerusalem artichokes, as well as all varieties of root vegetables, cabbage and mushrooms. All youneed to concoct ultra-vitamin soups and forest frying pans that smell just like autumn!

Fruit lovers can rest assured that November may not be as fruit-filled as the summer months, but there’s still plenty to enjoy!

We’re betting on tropical fruits (papaya, guava, passion fruit, mango, banana), nuts (walnut, hazelnut, chestnut, chestnut) as well as on sure-fire favour ites like pears, apples and grapes!
