Montpellier is the perfect city for a stroll, and you’ll soon notice! Thanks to the monuments of previous centuries, there are plenty of places to discover in Montpellier. We’ve selected a map showing the main places of interest.
These include Montpellier’s famous Arc de Triomphe and the Tour de la Babote in the historic center. According to legend, it was from this tower that Sébastien Lenormand, inventor of the parachute, made his first jump on December 26, 1783.
