This detailed map of Krakow will help you find your way around the city so that you don’t get lost in the streets and, above all, so that you can easily get to the different districts of Krakow. This is the official city map, which you’ll see displayed on street signs.
This map of Krakow includes a legend to help you locate practical points in the city, such as museums, information points, hospitals, parking lots, parks, post offices, etc. It even includes the route « in the footsteps of John Paul II », who lived most of his life in Krakow.
This map lists the numbered points of interest to see and visit in the city’s historic center, from the Rynek (Market Square) to Wawel Castle. This easy-to-read map is useful if you’re only staying two days in Krakow, as it will keep you busy for at least one day.
Where can I find a free map of Krakow?
You’ll find free maps of Krakow at the various kiosks of the Krakow Tourist Office, in hotels and youth hostels, and in some restaurants and stores. This map is published twice a month, and as well as providing you with a map of the city, it also gives you plenty of information on current events to go to, from jazz festivals to clubbing nights and art exhibitions. Maps of public transport lines (bus, streetcar)
Note that public transport (streetcars and buses, day and night) is all available free of charge with the Krakow Card. If you’d like more information about the routes, you can view and download the maps below. There’s also a website where you can enter your starting point and destination, so that you receive the route you need to follow: krakow.jakdojade.pl. You can also visit the official Krakow public transport website: mpk.krakow.pl.
This map shows the different bus routes in Krakow. As you can see, the network of bus lines serves the whole city and its suburbs. Thanks to the somewhat antiquated but geographically well-distributed public transport system, you don’t need a car here in Krakow.
This map shows the different streetcar lines in Krakow. The tramlines connect most of Krakow’s neighborhoods with the city center. Some twenty tramway lines run daily, and another ten or so are added on public holidays or to replace a line undergoing repairs.
This map shows the various Krakow streetcar and bus lines that operate at night. These buses and streetcars provide a (less frequent) service from 11.30pm to 4.30am. Fares are generally around 50% higher at night. The map shows the line numbers concerned.
