Cheap parking in Seville: where to park in Seville?

Parking Seville

If you’re coming to Seville by car or renting one, it’s important to know where to find cheap parking in Seville and where to park.

If you’re planning to stay in Seville for more than 3 days, or if you want to get to certain tourist sites in the Andalusian hinterland, using public transport may be your only option. Having a car, rented or not, can then become very interesting for exploring and discovering the surroundings, going to the beach, etc.

However, whether you’re coming with your own car or renting one for a few days, one important question arises: Where to park in Seville? How can I find the best parking or the cheapest parking in Seville?

Parking in Seville: pay on the street

Paying to park on the street is not the right solution. Seville’s city center is almost exclusively pedestrian, and the narrow streets in the center make it very difficult to find a parking space. What’s more, the prices are exorbitant and the duration is short! And the municipality doesn’t mess around with parking bans: €145 fines with immediate boarding.

You can also find paid street parking on the outskirts of town, at more affordable rates, and then come here by public transport.

However, we advise you to avoid paying for parking on the streets, as there are many cases of vandalism to foreign plates or highly recognizable rental vehicles. There are better options for parking in Seville.

Cheap parking in Seville: park on the street for free

If you don’t want to pay for parking in Seville, a second option is to park your car outside the paid parking zones, then take public transport into the city center.

If you park in the residential areas or on the outskirts of Seville, you may be lucky enough to find a free parking space. From the outskirts, it’s easy to get to the city center by public transport.

For example, you can park near the end of line 1 (metro) near the Cocheras or La Plata stops. However, bear in mind that parking on the street with a foreign or rented car can present safety risks!

Parking in Seville: Indoor parking in Seville

You’ll find plenty of covered parking lots in Seville. The average charge for 24 hours’ parking is between €10 and €35 per day. The tourist office issues a map showing the parking lots.

In the center, the cheapest parking lots are the INSUR Mirador de Santa Justa parking lot and the INSUR parking lot, further south than the former and close to the San Bernardo metro stop (line 1). Both are very close to the historic city center.

We advise you to reserve a parking space close to your hotel in advance: some even offer discounts, so don’t hesitate to ask. You can also opt for accommodation with private parking.

During the summer months, it’s not unusual for some parking lots to be full. By booking in advance, you can be sure of a covered space in a secure parking lot.

Please note that most parking lots do not accept payment cards, so bring cash just in case! Or book online (link below):

Parking in Seville: Parking in Seville in an outdoor parking lot

The most economical and cheapest way to park in Seville is to use the outdoor parking lots close to the metro stations, such as the huge parking lots around the metro stations:

  • Ciudad Expo (Mairena del Aljarafe),
  • San Juan Alto, San Juan Bajo (San Juan de Alfarache),
  • Condequinto y Olivar de Quintos (Dos Hermanas).

They are free and supervised, but only operate from 6.30am to 11pm on weekdays, and 7am-2am at weekends.

You’ll also find a free, unsupervised parking lot in Seville, which operates all the time, at the Blas Infante station, behind the Parque de los Principes in Triana.
