It’s perfectly possible to park on the street in Nice and pay at a pay-and-display machine. Parking spaces are clearly marked on the ground. This type of parking is best suited to short visits. You can only park in Nice, in the same place, for a maximum of 2h15 from Monday to Friday. And no more than 3h15 on Saturdays.

On-street parking is always free for thirty minutes on weekdays and for one hour on Saturdays. Pay parking is available Monday to Saturday, 9am to 8pm, and free on Sundays and public holidays.

In all, Nice has more than 10,500 pay-on-street spaces, spread over fourteen zones.

On weekdays, beyond the thirty minutes, the rates are as follows:

  • 1h00: 1,30€
  • 2h00: 2,60€
  • 2h15: 16€

On Saturdays, after one hour, the rates are as follows:

  • 1h00: 1€
  • 2h00: 2€
  • 3h15 and over: €16

To park on the street and pay, you need a parking ticket. Today’s connected devices enable payment by cash, credit card (contact and contactless) or PayByPhone.

This application, or its website, enables you to buy a parking ticket remotely, from a telephone or the Internet. There’s no need to go to the pay and display machine or to buy paper tickets. You can even extend your parking time, up to the maximum authorized, or stop it remotely, so that you only pay for the actual time.
