A beach in South Africa where penguins live in the wild with you
If you’d like to do something other than go to the beach, there’s a place in South Africa near Cape Town where penguins simply spend their day relaxing, waiting for you to join them. It’s something exceptionally rare, even today. So I strongly urge you to go, especially as it will take you on a tour of the area south of Cape Town.

The beach is part of Table Mountain National Park, and there is an entrance fee to see these little alcids (the money raised goes to protect these endangered creatures).

There are some 3,000 penguins on Boulders beach, so what are you waiting for?

How do I get to Boulders Beach from Cape Town?
To get to Boulders Beach, you can take the Cape Town MetroRail to Simon’s Town. Simon’s Town station is about 3 kilometers from Boulders Beach… You can get there by walking south along the Main Road (M4) (ask locals) to Bellevue Road. Alternatively, you can take a cab from Simon’s Town station, which will of course be quicker, but will have a cost.
