Firostefani is one of Santorini’s must-see villages. It offers a breathtaking view of the caldera and the island of Thirasia. Sit on the terraces of the tourist residences just above Fira and admire the sunset.
Not staying at Firostefani itself? Don’t worry, you can still enjoy the area. To do so, take the path leading to Fira and admire the sunset from the many little alcoves along the way. You can also opt for one of the restaurants in the village, or take a seat on the bench opposite the church, right next to the Aktaion restaurant. The glassed-in terrace of the Pelekanos restaurant on the main street, for example, is an excellent place to enjoy views of both the caldera and the suns et. Finally, to enjoy the sunset from the sea on the Oia side, you can also opt for a boat cruise.
