6 places to have a drink in Bordeaux with your feet in the water!

Aperitifs Bordeaux

Enjoying your stay in Bordeaux, but feeling too hot? Cast off and indulge in a drink by the water.

We always need moments to ourselves, to relax and unwind. Enjoy a drink in the fresh air, in places that are almost out of time, and let yourself be swept away by the zenitude of restaurants and bars on the water’s edge (Bord’eaux) and those floating on the Garonne…

1. La Petite Gironde

La Petite Gironde faces the Place de la Bourse and its 18th-century façade, in the Parc des Angéliques. Enjoy homemade cuisine: foie gras and salmon smoked on the premises! And don’t miss the cabécou salad (yum!) and the scallops cooked a la plancha.

If you don’t finish your dishes, you can take them home with you. The waiters will wrap them up in a doggy bag so that you can finish them at home 🙂

Address: 75 Quai des Queyries, Bordeaux. Access by Tram B (Stalingrad stop)

2. La Dame, between red and white

Climb aboard a river tanker, La Dame entre rouge et blanc: two-tone dress and feminine curves, you’ll be charmed. Restaurant, bar, club, fooding area… it’s a constantly changing place, where you can attend cultural events. From DJs in the evening to aperitifs on deck during the day, choose the moment that suits you best and stop off for a drink at this unusual Bordeaux venue.

3. La Guinguette Chez Alriq

Chez Alriq is a fairytale world. Musicians and glowing lanterns are on hand to brighten up your evening. No headaches here! Home-made fries, mussels marinière, local beers and veggie dishes, there’s something for everyone. Open: June-August, Wednesday to Sunday.

Address: ZA Quai des Queyries, Port Bastide, Bordeaux. Access by Tram B (Stalingrad stop)

A little tip: for the July 14 festivities, take a seat on the Left Bank to admire the fireworks. With the Quais and Place de la Bourse in front of you, you won’t be disappointed by the view 🙂

4. I.Boat, aperitif on the terrace

I.Boat is moored right next to La Dame, its harbor companion, and offers you the possibility of privatizing the entire deck for evenings out with friends. For lunch or dinner, choose from a gluten-free burger or salmon fillet at « La Cantine », while enjoying live music! A great place for a drink in Bordeaux.
